Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and versatile Virtual Assistant
to support a Singapore-based fitness professional and business owner. This role
combines social media content management (primary focus) with career
application and outreach support (secondary focus). The ideal VA is
organized, tech-savvy, and comfortable working across both creative and
administrative tasks.
The role will start on a minimum part-time basis and
may evolve as business momentum grows.
Scope of Work
1. Social Media Management (Primary Responsibility)
Edit
short-form video content (Reels) using provided raw footage and existing
templates
Focus on fitness-related content, including:
Running
Pilates
Strength
& Conditioning
Assemble
and edit videos efficiently (quality should be clean and engaging, not
overly polished)
Create
and manage a basic social media content calendar
Schedule and post content on Instagram (admin access provided)
Support community engagement:
Responding
to comments
Encouraging engagement where appropriate
Track
general performance metrics (views, engagement growth) without strict
benchmarks
Career
Application & Outreach Support (Secondary Responsibility)
Assist
with job applications via:
Company
websites
Job postings
LinkedIn
Customize
applications using ATS-friendly practices
Use
AI tools to adapt resumes and cover letters from provided templates
Send
targeted outreach / cold emails to startups and mid-sized companies
Track
application status and responses
Support
light email follow-ups until conversion to coffee chats or initial
conversations
Notes on Performance & Collaboration:
Deliverables
and output expectations will be discussed collaboratively with the VA
Emphasis
is on consistency, efficiency, and gradual growth rather than rigid weekly
quotas
Clear
communication and regular check-ins will be used to align expectations and
timelines
Qualifications:
Experience
as a General Virtual Assistant or Social Media Manager
Comfortable
editing short-form videos (Reels / Shorts)
Familiarity
with Instagram content workflows and engagement best practices
Basic
understanding of ATS-based job application systems (preferred)
Strong
written English for professional emails and outreach
Organized,
reliable, and able to manage multiple task types
Nice
to have: Background in business management, corporate support, or
recruitment-related tasks
Tools Required:
Video
editing tools (preferred: CapCut; Canva acceptable)
AI
tools for resume and application optimization (e.g., ChatGPT or
equivalent)
Instagram
(posting, scheduling, engagement)
Google
Workspace or similar productivity tool
LinkedIn
and web-based job application platforms
Shifts & Hours:
Starting
with a minimum commitment of 10 hours per week; flexible shift
Suggested
structure: ~2 hours per day, Monday to Friday
