Fresh Produce - CPG Sales

Vertically integrated fresh produce and CPG brand seeks a sales / business development expert to grow their business across a broad commodity set. This is an established company with deep grower relationships, active RFPs, and product ready to move. Strong mission in sustainability and regenerative agriculture. This is a team built for professionals who want to win commercially and align to a people + planet mission. Sales growth opportunities are strong. Responsibilities: • Build and grow accounts across a broad commodity set through proactive relationship management and consultative selling. • Call on and develop customers across meal kit, foodservice distributors and operators, retail programs, and food processors. • Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations tailored to customer needs. • Maintain accurate sales reporting and conduct ongoing account analysis to identify opportunities. • Manage truckload, commodity, and channel-specific sales activity. • Monitor market pricing, seasonal availability, and supply chain dynamics to advise customers. • Work closely with sourcing and operations teams to maintain timely communication on product availability and program sales. • Represent the company's sustainability and regenerative agriculture mission in all customer interactions. Requirements: • Proven experience in produce sales with a track record of building accounts and exceeding objectives. • Understanding of the produce supply chain, perishable product dynamics, and commodity market pricing. • Demonstrated ability to build accounts through relationship management, sales reporting and account analysis, and sales presentations. • In-depth knowledge of produce varieties, growing practices, the sustainability movement, and produce merchandising. • Comfort calling on one or more of the following: meal kit, foodservice distributors/operators, retail programs, food processors. • Bilingual preferred but not required; excellent communication and presentation skills required.
