Position Title: Franchise Operations Manager  Department: Operations  Location: Remote based in North Carolina (Home-based with 80% travel) Reports To: Franchise Business Consultant  The Franchise Operations Manager (FOM) is responsible for training at new store openings. They are also responsible for an assigned group of 4-6 Franchisees. The stores and owners selected will be representative of our system and include owners of diverse skill sets and personalities. In these stores the FOM will assume the same approach as an FBC (Franchise Business Consultant). These stores will be under the supervision of the Franchise Operations Manager, while the FBC will mentor and coach them in those locations. This relationship will be communicated to the franchise owners by the FBC, and the FBC will mentor the Franchise Operations Manager throughout the process.  HIGH GROWTH OPPORTUNITY:  With the rapid growth of Charleys, a Franchise Operations Manager has the potential to grow into a FBC (Franchise Business Consultant) role within a reasonable timeframe.  Responsibilities:  • Maintains a high level of knowledge and skill in all areas of operations and training.  • Role-models the use of all policies and procedures.  • Contacts franchisee consistently prior to opening to schedule assistance needed.  • Communicates with the FBC and Director of Operations throughout the opening process sharing the status of opening related milestones, potential delays or other opening related issues.  • Utilizes the New Store Opening Guide throughout the process to ensure a successful opening.  • Confers with Franchise Operators (FO) regarding hiring, placing food orders, uniform ordering & New Store Opening Guide.  • Works with FO regarding pre-opening schedule, training, shift control, scheduling, order & daily/nightly paperwork. Spends approximately 7 days at the restaurant prior to open completing these tasks with the FO.  • Assisted in regional training classes as needed.  • Spends approximately 1-2 days at all new stores after opening to provide training and follow-up. Notify Director of Operations & FBC of any problems and potential issues that may need attention from the FBC or other departments.  • Maintains regular follow-up to restaurants post open and visits stores that are not performing well.
