As a founding team member, candidates will have the opportunity to shape both the product and the technical direction of the platform. In first week of launching MVP that the founder Elijah Rock, a 25+ year veteran in entertainment, we have 7 monthly subscribers. Goal is 100 Founding subscribers in the next 30-60 days.
Role Description As a Founding Full-Stack Engineer (AI SaaS) at MYSHOWBIZ.ai, you will work part time in a remote capacity, collaborating directly with the founder to design, build, and iterate on core product features already outlined in the MVP. No immediate Salary. You must have 6-12 months of personal runway and will be offered Equity with a cliff and Salaried when user acquisition triggers such, which should not take that long with our vast network in the entertainment business and go to market strategy which will include and equity crowd-funding campaign. Expectation is to have a BETA product in the market in 6 months from your start date. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and maintaining front-end interfaces, building and optimizing back-end services and APIs, and integrating AI/ML-driven components into the platform. You will set up and refine the technical stack, ensure code quality and scalability, and participate in architectural decisions. The role also involves working closely with product and design to translate user needs into robust technical solutions, contributing to documentation, and supporting deployment and monitoring in a cloud environment. As a founding engineer, you will help establish best practices, define engineering culture, and contribute to long-term product strategy, potentially earning equity based on contribution and commitment.
Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong Full-Stack Development and Software Development skills, including experience building production-ready web applications end to end.
• Candidates should possess solid Front-End Development skills, including proficiency with modern JavaScript frameworks and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS).
• Candidates should possess robust Back-End Web Development skills, including experience with APIs, databases, and server-side frameworks.
• Experience working with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure) and modern DevOps practices (CI/CD, containerization) is beneficial.
• Background or interest in AI/ML integration within SaaS products, including working with APIs from major AI providers, is highly valuable.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting, communicate clearly, and collaborate effectively with non-technical stakeholders is essential.
• Prior experience in early-stage startups, especially in SaaS or entertainment/creator-focused products, is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience is preferred but not required.
