CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to join our Fire Protection Services Team in a remote capacity. This role offers the opportunity to support impactful fire and life safety projects while building a strong foundation in project management within a collaborative, safety‑focused environment.
What You'll Do:
Manage fire protection projects from initiation through completion, supporting system installations, upgrades, and service work with a focus on schedule, scope, and budget
Coordinate closely with clients, market teams, technical staff, and subcontractors to ensure project expectations are met and issues are resolved efficiently
Develop project schedules, track progress, and communicate updates to clients, internal teams, and leadership
Prepare change orders by defining scope, schedule, and cost impacts in collaboration with technical and market teams
Maintain project documentation, contracts, purchase orders, correspondence, and electronic project records
Support project financial performance by assisting with budgeting, forecasting, cash flow tracking, and subcontractor payments
Participate in project review meetings and contribute to quality, safety, and compliance initiatives in alignment with NFPA and OSHA requirements
What You Bring:
High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum of 3 years of fire sprinkler experience required; minimum of 2 years of project management experience required
Working knowledge of the fire protection industry including fire protection systems, project engineering and/or construction principles and schedule, as well as life safety regulations
Familiarity with NFPA code requirements and OSHA safety standards required
Proven ability to manage scope, budget and schedule of technical tasks
Knowledge of design software (AutoCAD, HydraCAD, Revit) required
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other management software required; knowledge of Deltek Vision preferred
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment
Clear, professional communicator who adapts effectively to clients, contractors, and internal teams with the ability to inspire, motivate, build and manage relationships
Ability to solve problems with urgency and independently drive initiatives from concept to completion while overseeing multiple projects
Adaptable, calm under pressure, and skilled in problem-solving and negotiation
Valid driver’s license required
NICET certification preferred; project management certification a plus

Salary Range:
$90,000 - $110,000
Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
