As a WordPress Data Entry Job Post Assistant, you'll play a vital role in supporting our content creation and management efforts. Your key responsibilities will include:
* Creating new pages and posts in WordPress, ensuring that all content meets our style and SEO guidelines
* Uploading and editing images, selecting relevant and captivating visuals that enhance the user experience
* Managing and editing internal and external links, including finding related articles to link to our posts
* Adding shortcodes and HTML codes to posts, as required
* Filling out Yoast SEO information based on the content of each post
* Collaborating with our team to ensure that all content is accurate, engaging, and optimized for search engines
**Typical Tasks and Skills**
To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess the following skills and experience:
* Minimum knowledge of HTML editors, such as TinyMCE or CodeMirror
* Good knowledge of WordPress and the ability to use and set up plugins, such as Yoast SEO and Jetpack
* Ability to create new posts in WordPress or edit existing ones, adjusting text with titles, headers, and following our style and directions
* Ability to search and select relevant images, optimizing them for the web using our prefixed size and renaming them for SEO purposes
* Ability to upload images on WordPress, selecting a captivating featured image and spreading images into the article, adding necessary alt tags for SEO
* Bonus: Good or excellent knowledge of Photoshop or similar tools for image editing and similar kind of work
* Ability to manage and edit internal and external links, finding related articles to link to our posts if necessary
* Ability to add our provided shortcodes and HTML codes in the posts
* Ability to fill out Yoast SEO information based on the information in the post
