Our team is passionate about making a difference in the lives of our customers, and we're committed to creating a work environment that's inclusive, supportive, and empowering. **Job Summary** As an Experienced Student Loan Advisor – Customer Contact Center Representative, you will be responsible for: * Responding to incoming calls, chats, and emails from student borrowers seeking assistance with their student loans * Providing accurate and efficient solutions to customer inquiries, including processing applications and resolving emerging problems * Practicing active listening, empathy, and clear communication to ensure a positive and professional customer experience * Utilizing standard technology, such as telephones, email, and web browsers, to navigate pre-scripted responses and provide basic general and claims-specific information * Following established policies and standard operating procedures, including working within various systems, timekeeping, and documentation of calls from end to end * Assisting callers with filling out their applications and submitting them electronically to plan providers for processing * Completing basic call logs, documentation, and related call details for each phone inquiry **Key Responsibilities** * Provide exceptional customer service to student borrowers, responding to their inquiries and resolving their issues in a timely and efficient manner * Utilize pre-scripted responses to provide basic general and claims-specific information, while also exercising discretion and judgment to address complex customer concerns * Navigate various systems and browsers to access customer information and complete tasks, such as processing applications and resolving emerging problems * Document calls from end to end, including completing basic call logs and related call details * Assist callers with filling out their applications and submitting them electronically to plan providers for processing * Complete basic call log, documentation, and related call details for each phone inquiry **Schedule** * Monday: 11:45am-8:15pm * Tuesday: 10:45am-7:15pm * Wednesday: 10:45am-7:15pm * Thursday: 8:45am-5:15pm * Friday: 8:45am-5:15pm **Preferred Skills** * High School diploma or equivalent required * Must be able to speak and read English clearly, professionally, and fluently * Must be able to type a minimum of 35 WPM * Experience working with a personal computer and the Windows operating system is required * The ability to effectively work within established key performance indicators/metrics is necessary * Must have demonstrated excellent interpersonal and leadership skills * Must be able to multi-task and stay organized while completing simultaneous tasks **Requirements** * Must be able to navigate various systems and browsers * Excellent written/verbal/interpersonal communication skills sufficient to communicate and interact effectively with customers and co-workers * Knowledge of contact center technology * Strong Computer skills with proficiencies in Excel and Word * Excellent command of the English language, effective use of grammar skills * Excellent communication etiquette * Great customer service is expected on every call with our customers: personalize your call, be competent with the information & assistance you deliver to your customer, patient & polite, and be initiative-taking in offering solutions and assistance **Benefits** * Competitive pay * Sick time starts accruing immediately after training completion * Special event days which happen throughout the year * $25,000.00 Life Insurance which is paid for by arenaflex * Day one of employment you will receive paid holidays if you meet the criteria! **Work Environment and Company Culture** * arenaflex is a family-oriented and team-driven organization that values diversity, equity, and inclusion * Our team is passionate about making a difference in the lives of our customers, and we're committed to creating a work environment that's inclusive, supportive, and empowering * We offer a dynamic and fast-paced work environment where no two calls are ever the same * Our team is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and helping individuals navigate complex financial situations **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** * arenaflex offers a range of career growth opportunities, including promotions, training, and development programs * Our team is committed to continuous learning and professional development, and we offer a range of training programs and resources to support your growth and success * You'll have the opportunity to work with a talented and diverse team of professionals who are passionate about delivering exceptional customer service **How to Apply** If you're passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and helping individuals navigate complex financial situations, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
