**Job Summary**
We're seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Demand Planning, to join our team in the United States. As a Senior Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing demand planning strategies that meet the needs of our customers. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze data, identify trends, and develop forecasts that drive business growth and profitability. This is a full-time, work-from-home opportunity that requires a strong understanding of demand planning principles, excellent analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
**Key Responsibilities**
As a Senior Manager, Demand Planning, your key responsibilities will include:
* Developing and executing demand planning strategies that meet the needs of our customers
* Analyzing data and identifying trends to develop forecasts that drive business growth and profitability
* Working closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement demand planning processes and procedures
* Collaborating with business functional groups to understand how new products, new markets, and new initiatives impact demand and change plans
* Developing and maintaining relationships with internal and external partners to ensure effective communication and collaboration
* Providing input during the S&OP cycle to ensure that approved demand plans are implemented and executed
* Identifying and mitigating risks associated with demand planning, including stockouts, overstocking, and supply chain disruptions
* Developing and maintaining reports and dashboards to track demand planning performance and identify areas for improvement
* Collaborating with the business to develop and implement strategies to drive business growth and profitability
**Essential Qualifications**
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
* A bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business, supply chain management, or operations management
* At least 5 years of experience in demand planning, preferably in the FMCG or retail industry
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and develop forecasts that drive business growth and profitability
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners
* Strong understanding of demand planning principles, including forecasting, inventory management, and supply chain optimization
* Experience with demand planning software, such as Anaplan or SAP, is highly desirable
* Strong scientific skills, with the ability to analyze data and develop forecasts that drive business growth and profitability
* Strong independent direction, judgment, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
* Relational skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external partners
**Preferred Qualifications**
While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:
* Master's degree in a related field, such as business, supply chain management, or operations management
* Experience with ERP systems, such as Microsoft Dynamics or SAP
* Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
* Experience with statistical modeling and machine learning algorithms
* Experience with cloud-based applications, such as Salesforce or Google Cloud
