**Key Responsibilities**
As a Sales Associate/Customer Service Representative at careerzynith, you'll be responsible for:
* Providing exceptional customer service through customer engagement and quality product delivery
* Greeting customers in a friendly manner, determining customer needs, and exceeding their expectations
* Being knowledgeable of products and services offered and properly promoting them to customers
* Identifying customer needs and offering additional services that could benefit them
* Receiving, sorting, and placing mail in mailboxes accurately
* Recording all sales transactions completely and accurately in our Point of Sale system
* Packing contents for shipping using established procedures and products
* Receiving and preparing documents for printing
* Operating all other software packages
* Receiving and processing packages for shipping, including lifting and weighing packages, accessing shipment manifesting software, and generating labels
* Processing and documenting damaged shipments, late, and lost package claims
* Assisting in merchandising the store, including stocking shelves with product, ensuring a clean and orderly appearance of product, and informing appropriate personnel of inventory levels for re-ordering supplies
* Performing end-of-day duties, including reconciliation of cash, checks, money orders, credit cards, and all other transactions accurately and in accordance with company policy and procedure
* Operating copiers, fax machines, binding equipment, and all other office machines in a safe, efficient, and productive manner
* Helping customers operate office machines located in the retail area
* Performing general housekeeping duties
* Other duties as assigned
**Essential Qualifications**
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* 1-2 years of experience in sales, customer service, or a related field
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
* Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
* Availability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
