**Job Summary**
As an Experienced Retail Customer Service Associate, you'll be responsible for delivering a positive customer experience to all customers, utilizing consultative skills to anticipate customer needs, suggest alternatives, and provide solutions. You'll be knowledgeable in all areas of our business, including print, signs & graphics, and shipping, and will be responsible for taking orders, coordinating activities in the store, providing pricing and product information, and recommending appropriate arenaflex products and services.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Provide exceptional customer service by using consultative skills to anticipate customer needs, suggest alternatives, and find solutions to meet customer needs
* Demonstrate expertise in printing, signs & graphics, and shipping product lines and recommend appropriate arenaflex products and services
* Take complex customer orders using order systems and provide accurate pricing information
* Assemble parcels and prepare goods for shipping by wrapping items in insulation, inserting items into shipping containers, weighing packages, and affixing labels to parcels
* Set up and operate printing, binding, and other related equipment using customer-supplied original media and documents
* Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly retail store
* Process financial transactions using a Point of Sale terminal (POS), including handling cash and making change
* Clean, repair, and stock all retail store printing and shipping equipment and supplies to provide optimal performance and availability
* Stay current on retail store merchandising materials and ensure proper display of all retail area product and signage
* Take preemptive action to prevent errors and waste
* Complete required financial paperwork and may assist with financial reporting, including daily sales, close-outs, and bank deposits
* Follow arenaflex standard operating procedures as well as adhere to legal, HR, safety, customer service, and security policies and procedures
**Essential Functions**
* Ability to stand during entire shift, excluding meal and rest periods
* Ability to move and lift 55 pounds
* Ability, on a consistent basis, to bend/twist at the waist and knees
* Ability, on a consistent basis, to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and other team members
* Ability, on a consistent basis, to perform work activities requiring cooperation and instruction
* Ability, on a consistent basis, to function in a fast-paced environment, under substantial pressure
* Ability, on a consistent basis, to maintain attention and concentration for extended periods of time
* Ability, on a consistent basis, to work with minimal supervision
* Ability, on a consistent basis, to report regularly to work and maintain established business hours in order to support the arenaflex business
**Preferred Qualifications**
* High school diploma or equivalent education
* 6+ months of specialized experience
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to work in a team environment and provide excellent customer service
* Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
* Ability to work in a retail environment with frequent customer interactions
