About the Role: Retail Customer Service Associate
As a Retail Customer Service Associate at blithequark, you'll be the face of our brand, providing personalized support to customers, and ensuring seamless transactions. You'll be responsible for delivering a positive customer experience, utilizing consultative skills to anticipate customer needs, suggest alternatives, and provide solutions. Key Responsibilities:

- Operate and maintain a wide variety of equipment, including printing, binding, and shipping equipment.
- Manage the production queue and output, ensuring efficient workflow and meeting customer deadlines.
- Process financial transactions using a Point of Sale terminal (POS), handling cash, and making change.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly retail store environment, adhering to company standards and policies.
- Assist in training store team members, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Stay up-to-date on retail store merchandising materials, ensuring proper display of products and signage.
- Take preemptive action to prevent errors and waste, contributing to the overall efficiency of the store.
- Complete assigned tasks based on priority, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent education.
- 6+ months of specialized experience in a retail or customer service environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers, vendors, and team members.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift 55 pounds, and perform tasks that require bending, twisting, and manual handling.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under substantial pressure, while maintaining attention to detail and concentration.
- Ability to function with minimal supervision, demonstrating initiative and a proactive approach to work.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service environment, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- Knowledge of printing, signs, and graphics, as well as shipping and packaging products.
- Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems and financial transactions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and provide solutions to customer issues.
