**Job Summary:**
We're seeking an experienced and team-oriented Data Entry Technician to join our remote team. As a key member of our team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of prescription orders and medical records. **Responsibilities:**
As a Remote LTC Pharmacy Data Entry Technician, your primary responsibilities will include:
* Contacting physician's offices as needed for refill authorization
* Verifying orders with clients as needed
* Processing new and refill prescriptions with attention to detail and productivity standards
* Opening orders, verifying eligibility, and inputting prescriptions while maintaining quality standards
* Documenting correspondence and follow-up in our system
* Preparing audit sheets and providing feedback to your manager
* Forwarding incomplete or rejected scripts to the appropriate department for resolution and tracking status in the system
* Initiating and documenting correspondence and follow-up in our system
* Assisting with research of lost or missing orders as requested by internal departments
* Providing backup support to other pharmacy groups based on business needs or production levels
* Answering incoming calls promptly and providing exceptional customer service to our clients
**Qualifications:**
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* A High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
* A Pharmacy Technician license and Certification (CPhT) as per state requirements
* Long-term care pharmacy experience is preferred, with a strong understanding of Frameworks and Docutrack
* Ability to work in a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as operational needs dictate
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Pharmacy data entry experience, with a minimum of one year
* Strong knowledge of Brand/Generic drugs and medical terminology

**Compensation:**
The salary range for this position reflects the anticipated compensation based on experience and qualifications, and may vary depending on the specific role and candidate profile.
$15.10 - $20.63
