Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, review, and process inbound calls from customers regarding their insurance policies, addressing questions and concerns about policy coverage, billing, and modifications.
- Provide exceptional customer service, demonstrating empathy and a strong service aptitude to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Utilize computer systems and data tools to search for answers and information, resolving complex situations with limited information.
- Work independently and as part of a team to achieve customer service goals and objectives.
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance knowledge and skills, including obtaining necessary licenses and certifications.
- Maintain a high level of organization, order, and process in a remote work environment, adhering to company policies and procedures.
Requirements and Qualifications:
Essential Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Professional customer service aptitude with a strong service orientation.
- Basic conflict resolution skills and ability to manage emotions in stressful situations.
- Effective verbal and written communication, active listening, and questioning skills.
- Ability to multitask, navigate system tools, and utilize computer systems/data systems.
- Must have open availability during hours of operation.
- Must reside in Utah to be considered for this role.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 6 months to 1 year of relevant work experience in customer service or a related field.
- Previous experience in the insurance industry or a related field.
