**Job Summary:**
As a Remote Healthcare Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for owning a portfolio of accounts within arenaflex's Client Partner's Self Pay, Self-Pay After Insurance, and/or Payment Plan Accounts Receivable. Your primary focus will be on resolving patient balances in a rapid, compliant, and patient-centric manner, while maximizing arenaflex's Client Partner's financial performance. You'll field inbound phone calls, manage assigned inventory, and consistently meet key performance targets, all while maintaining a professional, empathetic, and positive patient experience.
**Key Responsibilities and Deliverables:**
* **Fields Inbound Patient Calls:** Respond to patient inquiries, resolve concerns, and provide accurate information in a timely and empathetic manner.
* **Fields Insurance Carrier, Attorney, and Non-Self Pay related Inbound Calls:** Handle calls from insurance carriers, attorneys, and other stakeholders, ensuring accurate and timely resolution of issues.
* **Manages assigned inventory:** Properly and timely cycle Dispositional Segments within arenaflex or the Client's software solution(s), ensuring efficient management of patient accounts.
* **Meets Total Touches per Day target:** Consistently meet or exceed the assigned target for both patients and guarantors, as determined by the Segment of A/R and other Client nuances.
* **Accurately sets up Payment Plans:** Establish payment plans with patients per Client guidelines, ensuring clear understanding of payment terms and schedules.
* **Secures Payments and Partial Payments:** Collect payments and partial payments from patients per Client guidelines, maintaining a positive and respectful tone.
* **Performs Account research and resolution:** Conduct timely and results-oriented research and resolution on Self Pay, FAP, and Insurance topics, ensuring accurate and compliant outcomes.
* **Documents all Patient encounters:** Consistently document patient interactions in arenaflex's workflow solution, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
* **Initial assessments for Financial Assistant Program (s):** Perform initial assessments for Financial Assistant Programs per Client guidelines, ensuring accurate and timely identification of eligible patients.
**Essential and Preferred Qualifications:**
* **Patient-Centric Customer Service:** Proven experience in providing exceptional patient-centric customer service, with a focus on empathy, accuracy, and positive patient experiences.
* **Empathy:** Demonstrated ability to connect with patients, leaders, and staff, maintaining a professional and empathetic tone in all interactions.
* **Multi-system toggling and organizational efficiency:** Proficiency in managing multiple systems, prioritizing tasks, and maintaining a high level of organizational efficiency.
* **Documentation, written and verbal communication:** Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document patient interactions accurately and efficiently.
* **Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products:** Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
* **HIPAA and related Privacy and Security Acts and Regulations:** Knowledge of HIPAA and related regulations, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and ensure compliant practices.
* **Excellent Communication Skills:** Excellent communication skills, with the ability to connect with patients, leaders, and staff.
* **Team Player:** Proven ability to work collaboratively as part of a remote team, maintaining a positive and supportive attitude.

**Education:**
* **High School Diploma or equivalent:** High school diploma or equivalent required for this position.

**Compensation and Benefits:**
* **Hourly Rate:** $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
