Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Cybersecurity Content Developer and Training Specialist to join our team. As a Cybersecurity professional, you will be responsible for the maintenance and support of our Cybersecurity programs, including risk management, compliance, and security training. This role is 100% remote, offering you the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home and have full control over your work environment. You will play a critical role in developing and delivering engaging content to educate specific groups of employees with specialized skills for critical roles about meeting the requirements of Cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop and implement role-based security training campaigns tailored to various employee groups in a global organization.
- Create and execute comprehensive cybersecurity training programs, including newsletters, posters, videos, and interactive modules, to reinforce security requirements.
- Organize and conduct training sessions, workshops, and webinars on cybersecurity topics, such as secure coding techniques, privileged access, logical security, physical security, and business continuity/disaster recovery.
- Collaborate with security engineering and threat intelligence teams to understand current threats and vulnerabilities and design and distribute regular updates on relevant learnings from security incidents, policy changes, and emerging threats.
- Maintain a consistent and clear communication strategy to keep all employees informed and engaged.
- Support and improve security, risk management, and control framework through appropriate role-based cybersecurity training.
- Write, edit, and proofread cybersecurity content to ensure accuracy and relevance, and manage and update the organization's cybersecurity role-based security training materials and resources.
- Maintain awareness of external regulations and industry standards for new or modified requirements (FedRAMP, GDPR, PCI-DSS, CCPA, NIST 800-53, ISO 27001, etc.).
- Use analytics to measure the effectiveness of training campaigns and adjust strategies as needed.
- Work closely with HR, Technology Services, and other departments to integrate cybersecurity role-based training into onboarding and ongoing training programs.
- Provide support for cybersecurity-related queries and concerns from employees and assist in the development/revisions of Cybersecurity policies and procedures.
- Track and report on the effectiveness of communication and training programs, and monitor internal compliance against information security governance frameworks through assessments to gauge employee understanding and identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare and present reports to senior management on training program outcomes and metrics.
Essential Qualifications
- BS/BA or equivalent work experience in a security-related field.
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity training, communications, or a related role.
- Experience in developing and delivering a role-based security training program.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, threats, and best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to create compelling content and present information clearly.
- Proficiency in using communication and learning management tools.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proactive and self-motivated with a passion for cybersecurity.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to stay current with cybersecurity trends.
Preferred Qualifications
- Industry-relevant certifications such as CISSP, CRISC, CISM, etc.
- Knowledge of common compliance frameworks like the CIS Critical Controls, NIST SP800, ISO27001.

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary range of $119,662.00 - $179,494.00 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to your salary, you will be eligible for a range of benefits, including incentive compensation, bonus, restricted stock units, and a comprehensive benefits package.
