As a key member of our Parks & Recreation team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Recreation Centers, providing top-notch support to instructors, programs, and activities.

As a part-time Recreation Customer Service Representative, you will be an integral part of our team, working closely with colleagues to deliver exceptional customer experiences and promote a culture of excellence.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Assist in supervising Recreation Center instructors, programs, and activities during assigned scheduled hours
* Check out equipment to patrons and maintain accurate records
* Utilize basic computer skills to enroll students in class programs and manage attendance records
* Provide basic information to patrons regarding all careerzynith activities and services
* Supervise large groups, including children, to ensure health and safety standards are maintained and to promote orderly integration of all programs
* Communicate effectively and courteously with patrons, the public, and colleagues
* Perform minor maintenance duties, including ensuring the cleanliness of the building
* Work evenings and/or weekends as needed to support program operations
**Other Job Functions:**
* May be required to carry, push, pull, drag, and/or hold objects up to 30 pounds (furniture or equipment)
* May be required to work in a fast-paced environment with high noise levels
**Essential Qualifications:**
* Completion of ninth grade required
* Must be a minimum of 16 years of age
* Basic computer skills required
* Knowledge of equipment used in various games, sports, and other recreation activities preferred
* Experience using Class software preferred
* Ability to work evening and weekend hours
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively in a small team environment without close supervision
* Ability to represent the recreational facility professionally and maintain a positive image
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Experience working in a recreation or customer service environment
* Knowledge of careerzynith programs and services
* Bilingual or multilingual skills
