**Key Responsibilities**
As a Ramp Agent, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient handling of cargo, baggage, and mail to and from aircraft. Your duties will include:
* Safely lifting, loading, unloading, and transporting baggage, mail, and cargo to and from aircraft, while ensuring timely connections by guiding incoming and departing aircraft from the gate positions.
* Safeguarding cargo, baggage, and mail from damage, loss, and weather-related hazards.
* Safely operating ground equipment such as tugs, belt loaders, and tow tractors in areas of congestion.
* Operating baggage scanners and computers to ensure accurate routing of baggage to the customer's destination.
* Maintaining a high level of safety awareness and adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
**Work Environment and Schedule**
As a Ramp Agent, you will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a focus on safety and efficiency. Your schedule will be based on operational needs, with shifts ranging from early morning to overnight. You will work between 20 and 40 hours per week, depending on your seniority and the needs of the team.

**What You Need to Succeed**
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following minimum qualifications:
* Consistently prioritize safety and security of self, others, and personal data

* Possess a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency
* Be at least 18 years of age and have authorization to work in the United States
* Have a valid driver's license
* Proficiency in English
* Pass a physical ability test (PAT)
* Must wear required company-approved Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to include, but not limited to: hearing protection, safety-toe footwear, protective headwear (bump cap or hard hat), and high visibility safety apparel subject to an approved accommodation, such as alternate PPE
* Ability to hold airport-specific requirements such as a SIDA Badge and Customs Seal
