Job Overview
The Quality Control Standards Data Analyst will be responsible for analyzing complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement. Key Responsibilities
- Perform timely data collection, validation, and root cause analysis on data elements to support quality control initiatives
- Assist in creating and presenting results from complex data and analysis for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Collaborate with senior leadership to analyze ad-hoc requests resulting from emerging support issues and provide insightful recommendations to inform business decisions
- Presentation of insights, trends, and potential recommendations using data visualization tools to facilitate stakeholder understanding
- Develop and distribute specific queries to pull and organize data from various sources, establishing the rhythm and validating the need for data requirements
- Identify irregularities in processes through audits and convey findings to the team
- Assess the effectiveness of processes and techniques by monitoring for trends and errors
- Ensure a compliance mindset is at the center of every decision
- May perform other work duties as directed by the Team Leader
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:
- Strong ability to collect, organize, analyze critical amounts of data with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to effectively listen to, understand, and communicate ideas and present written, verbal, or presentation materials to groups of varying audiences
- Ability to assess business issues, identify opportunities for data needs, and interpret resulting metrics
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of data visualization tools and capabilities, such as Tableau, Alteryx, and QuickBase, is preferred
- Ability to troubleshoot, to summarize, and perform root cause analysis on data, and provide recommendations using logic and reasoning
- Able to use PowerPoint to build presentations for verbal communications is preferred
- Past internship, capstone projects, and research coursework is preferred
- Able to work effectively in a strong support/team-oriented environment
- Able to prioritize responsibilities effectively and be an independent self-starter
- Past internship experience in a related field is preferred
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
- Ability to plan and support large business initiatives
Preferred Qualifications
