**Job Responsibilities:**
As an Experienced Proofreader & Customer Representative Specialist, you'll be responsible for:
* **Proofreading Written and Digital Work Product:** Review and edit written content, including marketing materials, internal documents, emails, press releases, and website text, to ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality.
* **Crosschecking References and Data:** Verify the accuracy of referenced facts, dates, pages, values, and cross-referenced materials, such as websites and newspapers.
* **Reviewing Output for Consistency:** Ensure that content aligns with company-wide standards and maintains consistency across campaigns, products, and brands.
* **Collaborating with Team Members:** Attend team meetings, provide constructive editorial input, and communicate with team members to achieve consistent, accurate, and high-quality work product.
* **Improving Editing Processes:** Suggest process improvements and evaluate procedures to create efficiencies and enhance the editing process.
**Essential Qualifications:**
* Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
* 2+ years of experience in proofreading, editing, or a related field.
* Excellent writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail.
* Proficiency in proofreading symbols and digital content management systems.
* Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
