**Job Summary**
We're seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician - Data Entry Specialist to join our RedBox Rx team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for processing prescription orders, assisting customers with visit and treatment-related inquiries, and performing data entry tasks. **Key Responsibilities**
* Process prescription orders from RedBox Rx providers and assist customers with visit and treatment-related inquiries
* Create new patient profiles for patients
* Perform prescription data entry
* Work with co-workers as a team to ensure strict adherence to standard operating procedures and facility policies
* Perform other related job duties and special projects as required
* Handle inquiries that do not require a pharmacist's expertise and judgment
* Assist in adherence to quality assurance standards
* Adhere to all statutes and regulations pertaining to a pharmacy technician
* Reports to work when scheduled and works expected number of hours
**Essential Qualifications**
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Certified as a licensed technician through a certified national program and maintains continuing education requirements to keep license active
* Previous experience as a pharmacy technician or pharmacy clerk is preferred
* Strong leadership skills; ability to assist other members of the department
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to do logical or scientific thinking to solve problems; several abstract and concrete variables
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, assisting in the preparation of accurate prescriptions
* Must be able to compose original correspondence; follow technical manuals; have increased contact with people; interview counsel or advise people; evaluate technical data

* Experience with operating software, Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
