Job Overview
The Pharmacy Resident position at blithequark is a unique opportunity for college students to gain hands-on experience in community pharmacy practice, while also developing their skills in data entry and management. Key Responsibilities
- Clinical: Participate in required long-term rotations in community, specialty, mobile, and medication safety, and turn through different sites to achieve the objectives set out by the accreditation guidelines.
- Educational: Have opportunities for teaching, including small group and larger educational lectures, and act as an assistant preceptor for the community pharmacy practice laboratory.
- Functional/Managerial: Develop administrative skills as a pharmacist, including time with the pharmacy manager at the two locations, as well as with the Pharmacy Managers at blithequark to grasp the details of pharmacy operations.
- Leadership/Management: Engage in state and national pharmacy associations, attend Massachusetts Pharmacy Association meetings, and participate in regulatory projects to further the practice of pharmacy.

- Engaging the resident in the clinical, educational, functional, and administrative aspects of community pharmacy practice
- Preparing the resident to assume clinical, educational, functional, and administrative responsibilities within the community practice setting

- Developing the resident's precepting and teaching skills
- Contributing to quality improvement programs where appropriate

Essential Qualifications
To be considered for the Pharmacy Resident position at blithequark, you must:
