**Key Responsibilities**
As a Pharmacy Customer Service Associate, you will be responsible for:
* Registering sales on assigned cash register, providing customers with courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service
* Assisting the pharmacist, under direct supervision, in the practice of pharmacy, including using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions
* Engaging customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services, resolving customer issues and answering questions to ensure a positive customer experience
* Modeling and sharing customer service best practices with all team members to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience
* Providing customers with courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service, recommending items for sale and processing voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed
* Keeping counters and shelves clean and well merchandised, taking inventory, and maintaining records
* Performing duties as assigned by Pharmacy Manager, Staff Pharmacist, and Store Manager, including utilizing pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information, filling prescriptions, and verifying medicine
* Reporting prescription errors to the pharmacist on duty and adhering to Company policies and procedures in relation to pharmacy errors and the Quality Improvement Program
* Handling telephone calls that do not require personal attention of the pharmacist, including those to physicians
* Processing manual claims for third-party program prescription services in a timely and efficient manner, and performing other clerical duties as assigned
* Assisting and supporting Pharmacy Department on inventory management activities, such as ordering, unpacking, checking, and storing shipment of pharmaceuticals
* Ensuring compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products, such as alcoholic beverages and tobacco products
* Constructing and maintaining displays, including promotional, seasonal, super structures, and sale merchandise
* Assisting with separation of food items and product placement as specified by policies/procedures
* Providing customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service, poster print, and creative machine
* Assisting with exterior and interior maintenance by ensuring clean, neat, orderly store condition and appearance
* Complying with all company policies and procedures, maintaining respectful relationships with coworkers
**Essential Qualifications**
* Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico)
* Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours
* Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time
* Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Six months of experience in a retail environment
* Prior work experience with arenaflex
* Good math skills to fill prescriptions accurately, including counting, measuring, and weighing medications
* Good computer skills
* Knowledge of store inventory control
* PTCB certification
