**Key Responsibilities**
As a Pharmacy Customer Service Associate, your key responsibilities will include:
* **Customer Experience**
+ Engage with patients and customers, providing courteous, friendly, and efficient service
+ Resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive customer experience

* **Operations**
+ Register sales on assigned cash register, collect cash, and distribute change as requested

+ Keep counters and shelves clean and well-merchandised, take inventory, and maintain records
+ Perform duties as assigned by Pharmacy Manager, Staff Pharmacist, and Store Manager
* **Pharmacy Support**
+ Assist pharmacists in scheduling and maintaining work flow
+ Report prescription errors to pharmacist on duty and adhere to arenaflex policies and procedures
+ Handle telephone calls that do not require personal attention of the pharmacist
+ Process manual claims for third-party program prescription services in a timely and efficient manner
* **Inventory Management**
+ Assist with inventory management activities, such as ordering, unpacking, checking, and storing shipment of pharmaceuticals
+ Maintain knowledge of arenaflex asset protection techniques and file claims for warehouse overages, shortages, order errors, or damaged goods involving Rx drugs
* **Store Maintenance**
+ Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products
+ Construct and maintain displays, including promotional, seasonal, super structures, and sale merchandise
+ Assist with separation of food items and product placement as specified by policies/procedures
+ Provide customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service, poster print, and creative machine
* **Training & Personal Development**
+ Earn and maintain PTCB certification through the designated PTCB training program and/or state required certification/registration
+ Attend training and complete PPLs requested by Manager or assigned by corporate and acquire continuing education credits
**Essential Qualifications**
* High school diploma or equivalent required; pharmacy technician certification (PTCB) or state registration a plus
* 1-2 years of experience in a pharmacy or retail environment
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
* Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a cash register
* Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Previous experience in a pharmacy or retail environment
* Knowledge of pharmacy systems and equipment
* Basic computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems
