Experienced Patient Care Customer Service Coordinator (WFH) – Home Medical Equipment and Customer Support

We're seeking an experienced Patient Care Customer Service Coordinator to join our team in Murray, KY. As a key member of our Sleep Central Operations, you'll play a vital role in ensuring that patients receive timely and accurate support for their medical equipment needs. If you're a customer-focused individual with a passion for delivering exceptional service, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity. **Job Summary:** As a Patient Care Customer Service Coordinator, you'll be responsible for contacting patients to discuss their medical equipment needs, taking orders, verifying patient information, and placing orders in a timely manner. You'll work closely with our team to ensure that patients receive the support they need to manage their health and treatment at home. **Key Responsibilities:** * Accurately transcribe patient profiles over the phone, including data entry and possible outbound calling * Obtain medically necessary documentation * Process patient orders through our Online Pharmacy system * Resolve tracking issues and reschedule shipping orders for patients * Troubleshoot problems based on patient input regarding the scope and/or magnitude of failure * Verify orders are complete * Perform other duties as assigned **Qualifications:** * High school diploma or GED equivalent * One to three years of related prior work experience in a team-oriented environment * Strong customer service background preferred * Ability to effectively communicate in English, both oral and written, with physicians, location employees, and patients * Helpful, knowledgeable, and polite with a positive attitude * Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in a variety of communication mediums * Maintain confidentiality and practice discretion and caution when handling sensitive information * Multi-task with attention to detail * Ability to accurately perform simple mathematical calculations using addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division * Self-motivation, organized, time-management, and deductive problem-solving skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team **Skills and Competencies:** * Proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, and email transmission and communication * Ability to navigate the internet and research * Familiarity with office equipment, including fax machines, copiers, printers, phones, and computers * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills * Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information **Work Environment:** * Office environment * Work from home after successful completion of in-office training and meeting expectations with management approval **Benefits:** * Generous paid time off and paid holidays * Overtime pay for non-exempt hourly positions based on business needs * Commission for account executives * Fixed and variable rate car reimbursement for area managers and account executives * Employee discount program * Employee recognition program * Bonus and incentive opportunities * Mileage reimbursement (when applicable for the position) * Telephone reimbursement (when applicable for the position) * EAP * 401k * Medical, prescription, dental, and vision * HSA and FSA/Dependent Care FSA * Life insurance, disability, accidental death, identity protection, and legal services * Meru Health Mental health and Mercer SmartConnect Medicare programs * Livongo Diabetes and High Blood Pressure programs * Healthcare Bluebook and RX Savings solutions programs * HEPB and TB vaccinations **Career Growth Opportunities:** At careerzynith, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
