Job Overview

Duties & Responsibilities
As a Warehouse Associate at careerzynith, your duties will include:
- Receiving and putting away inventory: You will be responsible for receiving and storing inventory in a safe and organized manner, ensuring that all products are properly labeled and stored.
- Preparing customer orders: You will be responsible for selecting, packing, and shipping orders to customers, ensuring that all orders are accurate and meet quality standards.
- Loading and unloading trucks: You will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks with orders, ensuring that all products are properly secured and protected during transit.
- Operating equipment: You will be responsible for operating power industrial trucks (PIT) such as forklifts or pallet drivers, and working at heights up to 35 feet. Equipment training and certification are provided free of cost.
- Using scanners and technology: You will be responsible for using scanners to read bar codes on products and following prompts on screens to complete tasks.
- Troubleshooting and quality control: You will be responsible for identifying and resolving any issues with orders or products, ensuring that all products meet quality standards.
- Adhering to safety and quality standards: You will be responsible for adhering to strict safety, quality, and fulfillment production standards, ensuring that all products are safe and of high quality.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Physical stamina: You will need to be able to lift up to 49 pounds, push utility carts up to 60 pounds, and stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts.
- Good communication skills: You will need to be able to communicate effectively with team members and management, and provide excellent customer service.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment: You will need to be able to work in a fast-paced environment with moving machines, and be able to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
- Basic math skills: You will need to be able to perform basic math calculations, such as counting and basic arithmetic.
- Ability to work at heights: You will need to be able to work at heights up to 40 feet on a mezzanine, and be able to climb stairs (where applicable).
