Our team members enjoy a robust benefits package, including health insurance, flexible scheduling, 401k, and student loan repayment programs. **Job Summary** As a Remote Medical Customer Service Specialist – part time, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients, resolving issues in a timely manner, and maintaining a working knowledge of workflow systems. This is a fully remote opportunity, and we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team. **Key Responsibilities** * Review and identify issues from calls into the telephony system in a timely manner (50%) * Maintain a working knowledge of workflow systems to properly assign follow-up dates, department requests, and notate appropriately (10%) * Ensure all calls within business hours are answered and handled appropriately while providing exceptionally high customer service to callers within company guidelines (10%) * Perform payment transactions and request payment from accounts reflecting a balance (10%) * Assist with clerical duties as needed, such as email, facsimile, etc. (10%) * Requires close supervision and guidance from the supervisor (10%) **Essential Qualifications** * 1+ years of medical revenue cycle experience * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively * Proficiency in workflow systems and ability to learn new systems quickly * Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy * Ability to work independently and as part of a team **Preferred Qualifications** * 2+ years of medical revenue cycle experience * Experience working in a remote environment * Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance * Certification in medical revenue cycle or customer service **Skills and Competencies** * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively * Proficiency in workflow systems and ability to learn new systems quickly * Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Strong customer service skills and ability to provide exceptional patient care **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** arenaflex is committed to the growth and development of our team members.
