About the Role
We're seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a Customer Service Representative, you'll thrive in a fast-paced environment, be flexible with an aptitude for learning, understanding, and conveying information. You'll be responsible for treating every customer with the utmost courtesy while maintaining a positive outlook on every call. Excellent communication skills are vital for this role, along with enjoying assisting customers in a friendly and respectful manner.
Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, your key responsibilities will include:
- Answering incoming calls and responding to customer requests in a timely and professional manner
- Working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to adapt to changing guidelines and priorities
- Booking appointments for customers with a high degree of data accuracy
- Maintaining excellent written and verbal communication skills on a consistent basis
- Identifying and escalating issues to supervisors as needed
- Providing exceptional customer service and maintaining established quality requirements
- Staying up-to-date on product knowledge and industry trends to provide informed support to customers
- Collaborating with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives
- Participating in ongoing training and development programs to improve skills and knowledge
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- At least one year of experience in an inbound/outbound call center or retail environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask in speaking on the phone, using the computer and keyboard simultaneously
- Ability to type at least 25 words per minute
- Experience in providing exceptional customer service and maintaining established quality requirements
- Ability to pass a background check
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications would be beneficial:
- Experience working in the home improvement industry
- Knowledge of CRM software and other customer service tools
- Experience with data entry and record-keeping
- Ability to work in a remote/hybrid environment
