**Job Summary**
As a Part-Time Chat Operator, you'll be responsible for engaging with customers via online chat, providing accurate information about our clients' products and services, and helping to generate leads that drive revenue. You'll work in a relaxed, yet professional and fun environment, surrounded by a team of positive and energetic individuals who share your passion for customer service and technology.
**Responsibilities**
- Handle a wide variety of customer inquiries via online chat, providing accurate and timely responses that meet our clients' high standards.
- Provide detailed information about our clients' products and services, including features, benefits, and pricing.
- Narrow down on appointment information to schedule appointments and ensure seamless communication between customers and our clients.
- Capture customer contact information for lead generation and client review, helping our clients to build strong relationships with their customers.
- Summarize interactions based on customer needs for client review, providing valuable insights that inform our clients' sales and marketing strategies.
- Develop and maintain a knowledge base of the evolving products and services, staying up-to-date on the latest developments and trends in the automotive industry.
**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in retail customer service or the automotive industry is preferred, but not necessary. We're looking for individuals who are passionate about customer service and have a strong desire to learn and grow.
- Basic internet and window-based computer skills are required, as well as a strong ability to multitask and adapt to change.
- Positive and professional demeanor is essential, as is excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to type at least 35 WPM, with 40 and above preferred.
- Must have your own computer or laptop with a webcam, second monitor, microphone, and external mouse.
- Quiet, dedicated work space free from distractions is required, as this is a remote position.
- Ability to attend 4 weeks of full-time remote training, Tuesday - Saturday between the hours of 11:00 am-7:30 pm EDT.
