Job Overview
As a Night Replenishment Manager at The Home Depot, you will play a critical role in overseeing our nighttime operations, ensuring that our stores are fully replenished and ready for business each morning. Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Provide coaching and guidance to our nighttime associates, recognizing and rewarding outstanding performance and addressing any areas for improvement. Partner with our Night Operations Assistant Store Managers to drive formal performance conversations and discipline, and participate in talent planning discussions to ensure the ongoing development of our team members.
- Replenishment Operations: Direct the supervision of our Consistent Unload, Directed Packout, and Purge Pack down processes, ensuring that all trucks and trailers are received and unloaded timely and efficiently. Execute quality walks to ensure that our associates are completing the packout process correctly, and prioritize and communicate messages and tasks to all associates and leaders in the store.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure that all associates follow our safety and hazmat procedures, completing specified safety training courses and adhering to all prevention policies and procedures. Utilize proper PPE and guide associates on proper use, and immediately correct any unsafe conditions or hazards in the workplace.
- Shared Manager On Duty: Perform closing and MOD tasking, as well as other whole store focus responsibilities, conducting hand-off walks with the prior MOD and validating daily store priorities with our Assistant Store Managers and Store Manager.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a strong and diverse skillset, including:
- Leadership Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience in a leadership or supervisory role, preferably in a retail or operations environment.
- Operational Expertise: A strong understanding of replenishment operations, including freight handling, inventory management, and logistics.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team of associates.
- Safety Awareness: A strong commitment to safety and compliance, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential hazards in the workplace.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
Preferred Qualifications
