**Key Responsibilities**
As a Member Services Representative, you will be responsible for:
* Completing daily tasks related to check processing, object processing, direct deposits, and budget transfers
* Coordinating return items with contributors, vendors, the Federal Reserve Bank, and other institutions
* Assisting other departments with fraud resolution, member inquiries, and accounting standard ledger balancing
* Working member cases/assignments and following established guidelines and procedures
* Processing mortgage payments, multi-account and member deposits, credit card payments, and other checks, including IRA, bankruptcy, and payoff checks
* Reviewing, examining, and approving Remote Deposit, Mobile, ATM, and other imaged-enabled products
* Logging, reviewing, and making necessary GL, account changes, and/or returns
* Processing Stop Pays and Check Batching
* Completing daily balancing and department closing
* Obtaining information from members for timely and accurate processing of international and domestic budget transfer requests
* Researching and verifying incoming and outgoing budget transfer information
* Communicating with vendors to process budget transfers
* Understanding and being familiar with outgoing and incoming budget transfer regulations
* Depositing check returns, reviewing member check returns on draft changes, processing member checks, verifying members for outgoing budget transfers, and Federal Reserve verifying and releasing budget transfers
* Completing daily processing of workflows associated with overdue returns, supply of receipts, international collections, and legal fees
**Essential Qualifications**
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* A high school degree or equivalent
* Intermediate Excel and Word experience
* Strong customer service skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
* Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail
* Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines under high-pressure situations
* Ability to communicate effectively with team members and vendors
* Familiarity with banking and credit union operations
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Previous customer/member service experience
* Previous banking or credit union experience
* Episys/Symitar and processing wires experience
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office software (e.g., Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
