We're seeking an experienced Medical Record/Data Entry Clerk/Project Support Associate to join our team in the Revenue Recovery Department. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for supporting our project associates in their daily tasks, ensuring that our clients receive the reimbursement they deserve. **Key Responsibilities**
As a Medical Record/Data Entry Clerk/Project Support Associate, your key responsibilities will include:
* Retrieving patient medical records from various hospital systems, ensuring that all necessary information is accurate and complete.
* Generating and preparing patient itemized bills in appropriate formats for internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
* Extracting and entering necessary information from/to hospital patient accounting systems, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
* Making phone calls to post-acute healthcare facilities to obtain information needed on patients, ensuring timely and accurate communication.
* Running and creating reports, analyzing data, and providing insights to support our project associates in their daily tasks.
* Assisting with any other information gathering or data entry as needed by the recovery team, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
* Scanning and indexing of documents, maintaining accurate and organized records.
**Essential Qualifications**
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* A high school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical record/data entry or project support role.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a team of registered nurses, coding professionals, and billing specialists.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and provide insights to support our project associates.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook, with experience in data entry and report generation.

**Preferred Qualifications**
