The Medical Billing Revenue Cycle Trip Intake Data Entry Representative will work closely with our Trip Intake Team to enter base rate, loaded miles, and wait time charges into our Billing System. This is a part-time position, with a 25-hour workweek, and the opportunity to work remotely or on-site in West Plains, MO. **Essential Functions/Duties**
As a Medical Billing Revenue Cycle Trip Intake Data Entry Representative, you will be responsible for the following essential functions and duties:
* Apply appropriate base rate mileage charges into the billing system
* Apply appropriate wait time charges to the billing system
* Accurately assign accounts to the next department
* Ensure all accounts are worked correctly to allow distribution to the floor in a timely manner
* Perform other duties as assigned
**Qualifications**
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications:
* Six (6) months of data entry experience
* Ability to pay close attention to details and find discrepancies in data
* Basic skills with Microsoft Excel, including the ability to use functions for sums
* Experience with downloading documents from websites and accessing the documents downloaded
* Ability to type a description of steps taken into the billing system
* Ability to gather data, compile information, and apply data entry steps accurately to accounts
**Preferred Education**
While a high school diploma or GED is preferred, significant and relevant work experience will also be considered.
