**Responsibilities**
As a Mechanical Customer Service Expert, you'll be responsible for:
* Handling and carefully responding to all customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner
* Providing excellent customer service through active listening, empathy, and a solutions-focused approach
* Working with confidential customer information and treating it sensitively, in accordance with arenaflex's data protection policies
* Aiming to resolve issues on the first call by being proactive, resourceful, and customer-centric
* Appropriately communicating with customers, both verbally and in writing, to ensure clear understanding and resolution of issues
* Calmly attempting to resolve and de-escalate any issues that may arise, using effective communication and problem-solving skills
* Escalating interactions when necessary and appropriate, to ensure that customer issues are resolved efficiently and effectively
* Tracking all call-related information for auditing and reporting purposes, to ensure that customer interactions are accurately recorded and analyzed
* Providing feedback on call issues, to help improve customer service processes and outcomes
**Requirements**
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* Ability to work remotely in a virtual team environment, with a reliable internet connection and a dedicated workspace
* 6 months of customer service experience, preferably in a mechanical or technical field
* Over 18 years of age, with a high school diploma or equivalent
* Ability to type 25 words per minute, with accuracy and speed
* High school graduate or GED, with a strong foundation in English language and communication skills
* Comfort with desktop computer systems, including Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office
* Proven oral and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and solutions clearly and concisely
* Logical problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze issues and develop effective solutions
* Ability to navigate Windows operating systems, with a strong understanding of computer hardware and software
* Organization and work prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
**Nice-to-Haves**
While not essential, the following skills and qualifications would be beneficial in this role:
* Experience working in a mechanical or technical field, with a strong understanding of customer service principles and practices
