**The Role**
As a Manager State & Higher Education at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for investing in the future of our people as they execute strategic direction of the State, Local, and Higher Education (SLED) managed travel accounts. You'll join our Southwest Business Department, where you'll coach and help to professionally develop the Field Government Account Managers and designated portfolio management. Your primary goal will be to increase sales, establish formal partnerships, and broaden awareness of arenaflex's corporate travel programs and services to State, Local, and Higher Education managed travel accounts.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Coach and develop Field Government Account Managers and designated portfolio management to achieve sales and revenue growth targets
* Establish and maintain formal partnerships with key stakeholders in the SLED managed travel industry
* Develop and execute strategic plans to increase sales and revenue growth in the SLED managed travel market
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities
* Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in the SLED managed travel industry
* Analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform business decisions
* Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue growth targets
* Provide regular reporting and analysis to senior leadership on sales performance and market trends
**Essential Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
* Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, account management, or a related field
* Proven track record of success in sales and revenue growth
* Strong understanding of the SLED managed travel industry and market trends
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
* Experience working in the airline or travel industry
* Strong network of contacts in the SLED managed travel industry
* Experience with sales strategy development and implementation
* Strong data analysis and reporting skills

**Remote Work Opportunity**
This role is offered as a remote workplace position, which may require travel for training, meetings, conferences, etc. Outside of those required visits, the majority of your working time may be spent in a remote location, away from our Corporate Campus. Please note, while this is a remote position, there is a limited group of states or localities ineligible for employees to regularly perform their work.
