**Job Summary**
As an Experienced LPN - Occupational Health Nurse, you'll be responsible for overseeing and managing the administrative, clinical, and operational nursing duties for our Occupational Health program. This includes:
* CARE COORDINATION: Support and coordination of care for Onsite/Near-Site Model Coordinator for Community Resources
* WORKER'S COMPENSATION: Case management to facilitate Worker's Comp process, facilitate referrals, assure appropriate care, prescriptions, facilitate scheduling studies and return to work assessments
* OCCUPATIONAL MEDICINE: Evaluation of all work injuries, Return to Work Responsibility for all Influenza Flu Events for respective facility
* MEDICAL MANAGEMENT: Evaluation and treatment of all injuries, illnesses, and medical conditions in an efficient and professional manner within nursing scope of practice and guidelines
* PREVENTION: Wellness Campaigns (every month) that covers every shift and breakroom, Identification of Prevention and Health Opportunities, Promotion of Immunizations, CPR Training
* ADMINISTRATIVE: Responsible for all medical supplies for occupational office, Assures compliance with regulatory requirements, CLIA & OSHA, Charting within Electronic Health Record
**Key Responsibilities**
* Provide comprehensive care and support to employees, promoting a safe and healthy work environment
* Coordinate care and services for employees, including referrals to community resources and specialists
* Manage Worker's Comp cases, ensuring timely and appropriate care, prescriptions, and return to work assessments
* Evaluate and treat all work-related injuries and illnesses, providing Return to Work guidance and support
* Develop and implement Wellness Campaigns, promoting prevention and health opportunities
* Educate employees on safe work practices and prevention strategies
* Collaborate with Environmental Health and Safety, Operations, and Human Resources to ensure a comprehensive approach to occupational health
* Provide medical management and treatment of injuries and illnesses, adhering to nursing scope of practice and guidelines
* Assist in medical emergencies, taking vital signs, and providing basic wound care
* Give immunizations under physician orders, support and encourage medical management plans, and assist in coordinating Onsite EAP Counseling
**Qualifications**
* LPN license with active license in Georgia, in good standing, preferably multi-state licensure
* At least 2 or more years of nursing experience
* CPR Certificate - American Heart Association
* Electronic Health Record and computer skills required
* Bonus points for:

+ Knowledge/Experience with occupational health nursing
+ Knowledge of recordable and non-recordable accidents
+ Bilingual in Spanish
