Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Lead Data Scientist to join our team, specializing in Retail Strategic Health Analytics. As a Lead Data Scientist, you will collaborate with business partners to shape the analytics strategy to address business priorities through predictive modeling, statistical analysis, or metric analysis. You will own and manage an analytics workstream, leading other analysts and data scientists to build end-to-end analytical products. Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business partners to develop the analytics strategy to address business priorities
- Own and manage an analytics workstream, leading other analysts and data scientists to build end-to-end analytical products
- Use advanced knowledge of algorithms and predictive models to advocate approaches, test hypotheses, detect patterns, and propose solutions
- Perform analyses of structured and unstructured data to resolve multiple and/or complex business problems using advanced statistical techniques and mathematical analyses

- Use strong programming skills to explore, examine, and interpret large volumes of data in various forms
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:
- 3+ years of relevant analytic experience
- Experience programming using R or Python
- Experience in SQL
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Mathematics, Data, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Economics, Physics, Engineering, or a related discipline
Preferred qualifications include:
- Demonstrated ability to communicate technical concepts and implications to business partners
- Anticipation and prevention of problems and roadblocks before they occur
- Strong knowledge of advanced analytics tools and languages to analyze large datasets from multiple data sources
