**What Success Looks Like**
In this role, you'll have the opportunity to:
- Gain a deep understanding of arenaflex's data model and data ingestion process within the first three months
- Learn and master reporting tools used by the team, including Redshift, Athena, S3, QuickSight, and more
- Deliver analytics and insights that demonstrate customer value and drive business growth
In six months, you'll:
- Establish yourself as a subject matter expert on arenaflex's analytics platform and methodologies
- Consistently bring your own ideas to life through creation of analytics for marketing and customer dashboard library
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to refine analytics processes and enhance data usability
In twelve months, you'll:
- Be able to self-serve as a subject matter expert on arenaflex's analytics product
- Proficiently manage multiple customer projects with on-time deliverables across a diverse range of subject areas
- Identify opportunities to enhance arenaflex's product and drive improvements that elevate the experience for both internal and external stakeholders
**What You'll Be Doing**
As a Lead Data Analyst, you'll be responsible for:
- Leading the intake process and execution of complex analytics requests, including:
- Creating custom tables and stored procedures in AWS Redshift
- Supporting BI developers by creating robust data models
- Presenting data and findings to stakeholders
- Supporting ad hoc data requests
- Serving as a value-based care SME on internal and external calls
- Helping build new tables and functionality in arenaflex's productized database
- Delivering actionable insights to sales and marketing teams as needed
- Collaborating with talented colleagues across arenaflex's Customer Insights, Analytics, Data Science, and Product teams
**What You'll Bring**
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- 7+ years of healthcare analytics experience
- Advanced SQL skills and robust data modeling capabilities
- Familiarity with medical economics, risk algorithms, and quality data
- Ability to comfortably engage with clients on their value-based goals and objectives, translating them into actionable deliverables
- Experience analyzing claims and EMR data
- Eagerness to learn, a detail-oriented mindset, and a creative approach to problem-solving
- Ability to write and troubleshoot Python code
**Would Love For You To Have**
While not required, experience in the following areas would be a plus:
- Working at a data vendor, ACO/CIN Organization, or health insurance company
- Experience with the AWS ecosystem
- Experience using collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence
- Experience using statistical modeling and/or machine learning
- Familiarity with GitHub, DBT, and Jenkins
