The Opportunity
As a K-3rd Grade Tutor at Huntington Learning Center, you will have the opportunity to work directly with students in a 1:1 setting, helping them build a strong foundation in Phonics, Reading Comprehension, Writing, Math, and more. This is a unique chance to make a positive impact on young minds and contribute to their academic success.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personalized instruction to students in Phonics, Reading Comprehension, Writing, Math, and other subjects as needed.
- Work one-on-one with students to identify areas of strength and weakness and develop strategies to address them.
- Utilize Huntington's proven instructional methods and materials to deliver high-quality tutoring sessions.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and center staff to ensure a collaborative and supportive learning environment.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on best practices in education.

Requirements and Qualifications
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field required.
- Certification or license in education a plus.
- Experience in tutoring or teaching, particularly with K-3rd grade students.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with students, parents, and center staff.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Phonics and Math instruction.
- Familiarity with Huntington's instructional programs and methods.
- Previous experience working in a tutoring or educational setting.
