**About the Role**
As an IT Operations Manager at arenaflex, you will be part of the AWS IT Services Support team, which provides highly-available IT support for arenaflex employees worldwide. You will be responsible for managing local and/or remote resources, assisting the global organization in defining the perfect customer experience, and owning strategies to create that experience. Your key responsibilities will include:
* **Developing and leveraging the knowledge base**: Help the team develop and leverage their knowledge base to expedite the resolution of recurrent issues.
* **Identifying opportunities for automation and process improvement**: Identify ways to proactively reduce requests through automation, documentation, and process improvement.
* **Setting high standards for issue handling and escalation**: Set high standards for issue handling, escalation, and problem management across the organization.
* **Guiding the team with metrics and goals**: Guide the team with metrics and goals that clearly measure their success.
**Essential Qualifications**
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* **5 years of experience** in developing a team of technical professionals across multiple locations.
* **2 years of experience** in leading technology teams as an IT Operations Manager.
* **Bachelor's degree**, or 4 years of professional or military experience.
* **Knowledge of Linux or Unix systems administration**.
**Preferred Qualifications**
