Our mission is to empower our members to live life to the fullest, and we're looking for talented individuals like you to help us achieve this goal. **Job Summary** As an Insurance Customer Service Representative, you'll play a vital role in handling property & casualty (p&c) related customer service and/or billing inquiries and problems via the telephone. You'll provide customers with plan coverage information, quotes, policy changes, and policy change impacts to premium, ensuring that our members receive the best possible service. If you're passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences and have a strong background in insurance, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity. **Responsibilities** * Handle property & casualty (p&c) related customer service and/or billing inquiries and problems via the telephone * Provide customers with plan coverage information, quotes, policy changes, and policy change impacts to premium * Review and update policies to enhance retention and better meet the needs of the consumer * Counsel policyholders concerning appropriate coverage, policy limits, payment options, and state laws that will best meet their needs for sufficient protection against risks covered by Property and Casualty insurance * Make appropriate recommendations and/or changes to the policy and gain policyholder acceptance to process the changes * Receive and respond to calls and emails received by the insurance service center, documenting all activity (changes to policy, coverage options, recommendations, and cross-selling) in EPIC * Utilize knowledge of insurance industry and club insurance agency policies and procedures to provide efficient and professional customer service * Provide quotes on endorsements as requested * Identify opportunities to apply discounts, process insurance verification forms for insured, and act as liaison for information exchange between customer and insurance companies * Process changes to policies within EPIC as well as submit changes to specific companies, following up with company to ensure change requests have been processed in a timely manner * Review policy information and references company-specific claims procedures to assist insured in filing claims * Mail insured documentation to be signed and returned as necessary, following up to ensure documentation has been returned in a timely manner from member/customer * Recognize cross-sell opportunities (membership and insurance) and obtain quote information * Perform other duties as assigned **Requirements** * High school diploma or equivalent and 3+ years of increasingly complex customer service experience in an insurance environment * Property and Casualty insurance license required * Membership license preferred and/or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity standards * Proficiency in EPIC and other relevant software systems * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team **What We Offer** * A competitive hourly rate, depending on experience and salary zone * Eligibility for Annual Merit Increase * Comprehensive Health benefits package, including Paid Time Off (accruals begin on first day of employment), 401(k) plan with a company match, Medical, Dental, Prescription, and Vision Coverage, Tuition Reimbursement, Life Insurance, and Flexible Spending Accounts * Nearly 4 weeks of paid time off accrued during the first year * Paid time off to volunteer * Tuition reimbursement * 401(K) plan with company match up to 7% * Free arenaflex Premier Battery Membership **Work Environment and Culture** At arenaflex, we're committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive workplace that values diversity, equity, and inclusion.
