Job Summary
As a Specialist, Building Controls at blithequark, you will be responsible for ensuring client and partner safety and comfort while minimizing help costs. You will perform complex diagnostic procedures, provide proactive solutions to issues, apply advanced software techniques, implement solutions, and follow up to ensure the effectiveness of solutions. You will also perform special or unique programming tasks to building controls systems by modifying or changing the structure controls methods, identifying and responding to trends with alerts, thaws, and work orders, and identifying and responding to manufacturer reviews.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform complex diagnostic procedures to identify and resolve issues with building controls systems
- Provide proactive solutions to issues and implement changes to prevent future problems
- Apply advanced software techniques to optimize building controls systems and ensure energy efficiency
- Collaborate with teams in building performance and controls to share resources, information, and tools
- Determine client needs and business requirements while prioritizing and executing work tasks
- Provide guidance, feedback, and support to ensure schedules and work quality are accomplished
- Develop, communicate, and implement processes and practices to address business needs
- Analyze and apply data from various sources to monitor progress and results
- Identify and address opportunities for improvement
Requirements:
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., engineering, computer science, or a related field)
- 8 hours of work per day, with flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team
