**About the Role**
As a Senior Solutions Architect on our Customer Acceleration Team, you will provide exceptional technical design and thought leadership to our customers while working with a world-class sales and business development team. You will lead efforts to capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the arenaflex solution architect community. You will gain the opportunity to learn from, collaborate with, and educate some of the brightest technical minds in the industry today across the breadth of enterprise architecture.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide technical design and thought leadership to customers while working with a world-class sales and business development team.
- Lead efforts to capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the arenaflex solution architect community.
- Collaborate with AWS field sales, pre-sales, training, and support teams to help partners and customers learn how to build and move to production-grade AWS environments that support Amazon Connect.
- Define and deliver on-site consulting engagements with partners and customers, including participating in pre-sales on-site visits, understanding customer requirements, proposing and delivering packaged offerings, and delivering custom solution engagements.
- Develop solutions and passion for hands-on experience with scripting/coding (e.g., Python, Java, C#, .NET, or Node.js).
- Work with AWS product, engineering, and support teams to convey partner and customer needs and feedback as input to technology roadmaps.
- Share real-world implementation challenges and recommend new capabilities that would simplify adoption and drive greater value from use of AWS cloud services.
- Contribute to best practices in the form of whitepapers and playbooks.
**Essential Qualifications**
- 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience.
- 5+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience.
- 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience.
- 5+ years of experience building integrations across WFM, CRM, and contact center solutions or experience with communications protocols and APIs such as WebRTC and SIP or similar CCaaS technology.
**Preferred Qualifications**
- 7+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking experience.
- Experience working with end-user or developer communities.
- Experience developing solutions and passion for hands-on experience with scripting/coding (e.g., Python, Java, C#, .NET, or Node.js).
- AWS Solution Architecture certification or relevant cloud expertise.
- Computer Science/Relevant degree and/or experience highly desired.
**Skills and Competencies**
- Strong technical skills in cloud computing, software development, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience in whiteboard, small and large group presentations.
- Strong leadership and consultative skills, with the ability to guide groups to understand application architectures and integration approaches.
- Ability to travel 10-30%.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical problems and develop innovative solutions.

- Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets.
- The base pay for this position ranges from $138,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $239,000/year in our highest geographic market.
- Pay is based on a number of factors, including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
