**The Role**
We're seeking an experienced full stack software engineer to join our team and help us develop innovative web and cloud applications that will take our business to new heights. As a key member of our software engineering team, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable, secure, and high-performance applications that meet the needs of our customers and stakeholders.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and QA, to develop and deploy web and cloud applications that meet business requirements and customer needs.
* Design and develop scalable, secure, and high-performance applications using a range of technologies, including AWS, Python, Java, and JavaScript.
* Work with data engineers and scientists to develop and deploy data-driven applications that provide insights and recommendations to our customers and stakeholders.
* Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment to ensure that our applications meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.
* Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in software engineering and apply this knowledge to improve our applications and processes.
* Mentor and guide junior engineers to help them develop their skills and knowledge.
**Essential Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
* 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on web and cloud applications.
* Strong experience with AWS, including EC2, S3, IAM, Lambda, and other services.
* Proficiency in Python, Java, and JavaScript, with experience in developing scalable and secure applications.
* Experience with data engineering and science, including data warehousing, ETL, and data visualization.
* Strong understanding of software development principles, including Agile, Scrum, and DevOps.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
**Preferred Qualifications**
* AWS Certification, including Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer.
* Experience with data quality tools, including Great Expectations, Deequ, or similar.
* Strong understanding of Linux and Windows operating systems, with experience in developing and deploying applications on these platforms.
* Experience with CI/CD tools, including Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar.
* Strong understanding of cloud security and compliance, with experience in developing and deploying secure applications.
