**The Role**
As a Senior Developer on our GABM team, you'll be responsible for executing development for a range of multiple parallel project engagements, including writing high-quality code for digital platforms using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. You'll work closely with our UX/UI, copy, and design teams to develop the overall look and design of digital experiences, ensuring that best practices regarding accessibility, responsiveness, performance, and ease of use are included early on in project ideation.
You'll also be responsible for developing an overall development approach and guiding other developers through execution to delivery, providing proactive coaching, feedback, and oversight for developers on project-based work. Additionally, you'll partner with our QA team to troubleshoot and resolve defects, identify patterns, and use learnings to optimize overall development processes.
**Responsibilities**
* Execute development for a range of multiple parallel project engagements
* Write high-quality code for digital platforms using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
* Produce, maintain, and modify digital experiences and user interfaces
* Partner with UX/UI, copy, and design teams to develop the overall look and design of digital experiences
* Ensure that best practices regarding accessibility, responsiveness, performance, and ease of use are included early on in project ideation
* Develop an overall development approach and guide other developers through execution to delivery
* Provide proactive coaching, feedback, and oversight for developers on project-based work
* Ensure all digital experiences align to industry standards and best practices
* Partner with QA team to troubleshoot and resolve defects, identify patterns, and use learnings to optimize overall development processes
**Essential Qualifications**
* 5+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on web and cloud application development
* Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant programming languages
* Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems (e.g. Git)
* Strong understanding of accessibility, responsiveness, performance, and ease of use principles
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
* Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
* Experience with cloud-based development platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure) and containerization (e.g. Docker)
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience with front-end development frameworks (e.g. React, Angular) and back-end development frameworks (e.g. Node.js, Ruby on Rails)
* Knowledge of design principles and human-centered design methodologies
* Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI)
* Familiarity with DevOps practices and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
* Experience with cloud-based services (e.g. AWS Lambda, Google Cloud Functions)
