**About the Role**
As a Server Farm Professional (DCT), you will work closely with experienced professionals to develop a comprehensive understanding of standard cycles and methods for planning, deploying, performing diagnostics, investigating, replacing, or decommissioning equipment. **Key Responsibilities**
* Complete assigned tickets efficiently and in accordance with significant Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) per task type with guidance from experienced specialists.
* Seek guidance from additional accomplished professionals on testing or complex tickets.
* Foster a comprehension of viable execution request strategy(ies) for assigned tasks with assistance from experienced specialists or direct-line management.
* Plan, stage, set up, and perform essential new deployments and closures for equipment (e.g., racks, hard drives, switches) as per explicit composed guidelines provided via agendas, guides, standard cycles, messages, direction from different professionals, and additionally heading from the board.
* Perform fundamental diagnostics and investigating with guidance from experienced professionals and additionally through standard methodology to recognize the cause(s) of technical issues and replace defective parts in organization, storage, or server equipment with zero-to-negligible client or potentially business disturbance.
* Create awareness of conditions, conditions, and situations which might reflect critical client or business influence within the Server farm climate.
* Directly perform decommissions, basic changes (e.g., memory overhauls, operating system modifies) and invigorates of framework cabling, organization, storage, and server equipment, keeping guideline methods while seeking explanation and direction from additional accomplished professionals depending on the situation.
* Process information bearing devices (DBDs) for destruction or affirm all such devices (for example hard-drives, solid state drives, flash cards, etc.) held within organization, storage, or server equipment has been identified for destruction or destruction with direction.
**Datacenter Workplace**
* Complete required security and information management training while consenting to security and information management strategies/approaches with direction from different professionals.
* May accompany outside vendors or IT support on-premises at server farms or organization locations.
* Properly takes action and reports actual security access concerns as well as occurrences to coordinate line management or established reporting strategies.
**Managing Administration**
* Keeps an attention to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) through reporting dashboards, systems, for individual monthly execution conversations depending on the situation.
**Essential Qualifications**
* High school certificate, GED, or equivalent and fundamental knowledge of PC equipment and parts.
* Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including shift work during non-standard business hours that may include night, evening, weekends, and holidays.
* Ability to meet arenaflex, client or potentially government security screening requirements, which include, but are not limited to, the following specific security screenings:
+ Microsoft Cloud Personal Investigation: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud individual verification upon hire/move and at regular intervals thereafter.
+ Citizenship Confirmation: This position requires check of citizenship due to citizenship-based legal limitations. In particular, this position supports US federal, state, and local government office clients and is subject to specific citizenship-based limitations where required or allowed by applicable law. To meet this legal requirement, and as a condition of employment, the successful candidate's citizenship will be confirmed with a valid identification.
+ Law Enforcement Data Services: This position may require passing a record check conducted through the CJIS law enforcement data system by approved local, state, or potentially government offices and across different states. This job expects the candidate to maintain CJIS screening qualification.
**Preferred Qualifications**
* High school certificate, GED, or equivalent and fundamental knowledge of PC equipment and parts AND 1+ year(s) experience supporting IT hardware or related technology.
