**Job Summary**
We're seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our Bookkeeping team on a full-time, remote basis. As a Senior Accountant, you'll play a critical role in driving financial reporting and analysis, working closely with our Senior Bookkeeping Supervisor to ensure accurate and timely financial statements. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the growth and success of arenaflex.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Plan and prepare journal entries and monthly account reconciliations for specific areas of the general ledger
* Be a key owner of the monthly close cycle for arenaflex and external entities for assigned functional areas
* Ensure financial records are maintained for Management and GAAP Combined financial statements using accepted methodologies
* Assist in providing expectations to external auditors on annual reviews and quarterly surveys
* Communicate with FP&A, functional partners, and external stakeholders regarding significant accounting matters
* Conduct special investigations and projects to further our cycle improvement initiatives

**What We're Looking For**
* Self-motivated and independent – you're able to think freely, innovatively, and entrepreneurially
* A "make it happen" attitude – you're able to handle pressure well, and you're modest and rugged!
* Sharp business acumen and process-oriented
* Data-focused and unafraid to dig down to the lowest level of detail for truth and a high level of accuracy
* Excellent communication, oral, and written skills, including strong proficiency in English
* Strong analytical and time management skills
* 2+ years of relevant accounting experience
* Strong knowledge of US GAAP, PCAOB principles, SOX/ internal controls
* Experience with NetSuite, Coupa, GSuite preferred
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, CPA certification an asset
* Strong spreadsheet skills, with the ability to manage and process large amounts of data
