**The Role**
As a Quality Assurance Engineer on our MSP team, you'll be responsible for developing and implementing virtual testing and simulation platforms to validate end-to-end solutions. You'll work closely with our Product Teams, QA Manual Testing and Requirements Team, and internal customers to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality, functionality, and reliability. Your expertise will be critical in driving innovation and quality across all aspects of Mechatronics and Packaging, from robotic cells and autonomous vehicles to packaging materials and sortation technologies.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Develop, implement, and maintain simulations and Hardware-In-the-Loop (HIL) testing to virtually validate end-to-end solutions with real-life software
* Ensure that products meet required specifications for quality, function, operation, reliability, maintenance, training & learning, deployment, process- and MHE- integration, service and support prior to delivery
* Identify and set appropriate quality standards and parameters for products
* Communicate quality standards and parameters to the product team, including hardware, software, controls, and materials development teams
* Coordinate simulations and testing processes
* Identify and analyze issues, bugs, defects, and other problems, particularly when problems recur in multiple products; recommend and facilitate solutions to these issues
* Connect with internal customers (Operations, RME, ACES, PE, OpsEng, WWDE, etc.) to review client, customer, and user feedback
* Maintain compliance with federal, state, local, and organizational laws, regulations, guidelines, and policies
**Essential Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree (BS) in a relevant field, such as Engineering, Computer Science, or Quality Assurance
* 5+ years of proven experience working with large cross-functional engineering teams with modeling, simulation, testing, integration, and/or quality assurance domain expertise
* Proven experience in fulfillment systems with storage equipment, material handling systems, automated sortation systems, and related automation equipment
* Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Ability to travel up to 70% to business locations and project sites
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience with complex automated material handling equipment, packaging technologies, and systems, including robotics and high-speed manufacturing
* Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members, operations, and management
* Project managing skills to start projects and finish projects successfully
