**Key Responsibilities:**
* Provides exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
* Registers customer transactions on assigned sales register, collects cash, and disburses change as needed
* Processes voids, returns, delays, discounts, and trades as required
* Maintains accurate records, including patient and medication data, and ensures data is entered correctly
* Fills prescriptions by retrieving, counting, and pouring medication, confirming medication is correct, and checking for potential interactions
* Reports remedy mistakes to the pharmacist on duty and adheres to arenaflex's policies and procedures regarding medication errors and the Quality Improvement Program
* Handles calls that do not require individual attention from the pharmacist, including those to doctors
* Processes (revises and resubmits) manual claims for external program prescription services in a timely and efficient manner
* Performs other administrative tasks, as assigned by the Pharmacy Director
* Assists with stock management activities, including ordering, unloading, checking, and storing shipments of medication
* Maintains knowledge of arenaflex's resource security methods and records claims for distribution center overages (stock received, but not charged), deficiencies (stock charged, but not received), order errors, or damaged products, including Rx medication
* Ensures compliance with state and local regulations regarding controlled substances (e.g., cocktails and tobacco products)
* Builds and maintains displays, including promotional, seasonal, and special designs, and completes resets and corrections as directed
* Assists with the division of food items (e.g., raw foods from pre-cooked) and product placement as determined by strategies/methods (e.g., raw and frozen meats on bottom shelves)
* Has working knowledge of store systems and store equipment
* Provides customer support in the photo area, including digital ID photo service, banner print, and creative machine, and sells special photo items
* Takes on web pick-up duties (screens orders in Picture Care, handles requests, and delivers requests to customers as they arrive at the store)
* Assists with outside and inside maintenance by ensuring a clean, neat, and well-organized store environment and appearance
* Adheres to all arenaflex policies and procedures; maintains respectful relationships with colleagues
* Completes special tasks and other assignments as directed
**Essential Qualifications:**
* Bachelor's degree
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills
* Excellent customer service skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
* Basic computer skills and knowledge of store systems
* Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
* Availability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekend hours
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Previous experience in a retail environment
* Previous experience with arenaflex
* Strong numerical skills to accurately fill prescriptions, including counting, measuring, and weighing medication
* Familiarity with store stock control systems
* PTCB certification
