Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop native mobile applications for iOS, including apps and SDK libraries, with a focus on user experience and adherence to iOS Development Guidelines
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UX, product management, and other stakeholders, to execute product requirements in an agile manner
- Provide subject matter expertise for the iOS platform and develop iOS frameworks and UI based on best practices
- Execute proof-of-concepts (POCs) for visionary initiatives and develop next-generation mobile payment applications
- Write solid code following best development practices, including good design documentation, unit testing, source control, and peer code-reviews
- Work independently with minimal direction from supervisors, exercising independent judgment and decision-making skills
Essential Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a relevant field
Experience
- 5+ years of experience in software development using Java, Objective-C, C, or C++
- 2+ years of experience in iOS mobile application development
Skills
- Expert ability to work independently and manage one's time
- Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Strong foundation in computer science, with competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design optimized for mobile platforms
- Knowledge of iOS development tools, including Xcode, continuous integration tools, and unit testing
- Experience with iOS platform security practices and RESTful APIs
Preferred Qualifications
Experience
- Experience with mobile banking applications
- Familiarity with integrating GCM notification systems
- Familiarity with design and implementation of configuration-oriented apps
- Familiarity with Imaging APIs and remote deposit
