**Job Responsibilities:**
As a Data Scientist at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:
* Mining crude data collections to deliver normalized, analysis-ready patient datasets from in-house information resources or authorized platforms, analyzing and interpreting results, and shaping the investigation process.
* Collaborating with other members of the arenaflex Clinical Trials team to convey significant insights from genuine world, clinical, and other data sources to support biopharmaceutical RWE and clinical trial requests. Potential endeavors include examination of unmet needs, safe and effective treatment in specific disease states, treatment patterns, and healthcare economic burden, and cost-effectiveness modeling.
* Cleaning, transforming, and storing data into a unified data lake for future analysis and broader team utilization.
* Performing data mining and statistical analysis to examine RWE/RWD to uncover new insights regarding patient populations and treatment results.
* Supporting the development of genuine data, analysis, and platform capabilities, applying advanced investigation and tools to resolve logical inquiries from biopharmaceutical organizations.
* Working together on the design and execution of results research studies
* Ensuring high-quality, thorough, and interpretable expectations from RWE review and examinations.
* Assembling dashboards, analysis, and reports for internal and external use
* Conducting an expected level of effort on new true data suppliers merchants and driving RWD quality evaluations to inform project decisions.
**Essential Capabilities:**
* 2 years of experience with R, Python, or SQL.
* Experience in designing and executing effective and reproducible statistical analyses regarding the study of disease transmission and observational research with healthcare data.
* Knowledge of standard statistical testing methods including generalized linear models, regression and classification, decision trees, machine learning, time series analysis, and survival analysis.
* Experience handling large data from various data sources
* Experience handling protected patient health data
* Knowledge of at least one of the following: Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, Spotfire, or other BI visualization tools.
**Preferred Capabilities:**
* Mastery in EMR/Health IT, disease libraries, and claims data sets
* Aptitude in clinical data principles, clinical terminologies, and controlled vocabularies used in healthcare data and ontologies (ICD9/10/ReadCode)
* Experience in Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and regulatory compliance rules for real-world evidence studies or clinical trials (e.g., ISO, MDD/MDR, CFR)
* Experience handling alternative data sources and alternative methods for clinical data collection, particularly those enabled by technology platforms and solutions.
* Experience with trial design, Bayesian modeling, sequential data, computational statistics.
* Understanding of analytics and AI strategies, ability to continue self-learning of technical and non-technical skills.
